What happens during the first consultation?
Our complimentary first consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know you and better understand your vision for your home. We'll discuss your lifestyle, budget, design preferences, site (if you already have one), and desired timeline. This conversation helps us understand your goals and recommend the best approach for your project.
Following the consultation, our architects will prepare a preliminary design concept for you to review. This allows you to explore our ideas and decide whether Selbee Housing is the right partner to bring your vision to life.
How long does the design process take?
Most projects require approximately 2-3 months of planning before construction begins. During this period, we finalize the design, select materials, and submit permit applications. From there, the average home is usually completed within 6 months.
Can Selbee manage permits and construction?
Yes, our architects manage the design, engineering, permits, and construction process from beginning to end.
Do you build European-style homes?
Absolutely. We specialize in European inspired homes, including French, English cottage, and traditional imported home designs.
